new bag from muji!

it's time to buy a new bag, AGAIN! yea, there's always a need for a BIG bag that can contain all my stuff, which includes my laptop, documents, pouches, notebook, organizer, umbrella, etc..

finally i saw one that is really sweet today, at MUJI. and my brother paid for it, for my birthday gift! thanks bro!


it's big enough to put my things, tho abit squeezy.

i hope it lasts long. most of my previous bags had their straps used to the fullest, my bag is jus too heavy.

birthday!

it was a fun fun day. i saw a dress at fashion lab, it's brown and pink, how adorable, looks like strawberry chocolate. so i bought it and wore it on my birthday.
jimmy brought me to Tao Restaurant, and as usual, the people working there are so so nice, friendly and homely.


during dinner, jimmy gave me a birthday gift and it is a Ipod Nano!! something i've been eyeing for very long... so happie!
the food at tao is so nice and interesting.

right in the middle is actualli fish soup, served in a teapot and cup. it's yummy and it's fun to drink from the tiny cup! the people at Tao are so adorable! they actualli overheard our conversation that it's my birthday and they brought in a complimentary yam icecream with lighted candle! how sweeeeet.. so we had 3 desserts!

after dinner, we went to wisma for late-night shopping but it was seriously a great diappointment. not many shops opened, and for the shops which were still open, it was flooded with people. how to shop??

marcus came to meet jimmy and me so we went to drink while waiting for time to pass. finally it's 11pm and we headed for partyworld!

i reached home at like 3am but i was still very excited and happy, so i took photos of all my gifts til like 4 plus den went to sleep...

the next day i went for birthday dinner with my family and jimmy at sakae sushi! but sadly, we all forgot to take photos altho we had brought the camera out!! wat a pity... my parents gave me red packets and my big brother WILL be buying me a document bag, as i have not chosen the bag yet. haha.

first birthday gift!

tomorrow i'm gonna be one year older already! happie or not? both i guess. it's weird how u wanna grow up when u're a kid and now that u're growing older u hope that time will move abit slower? talking about time going so fast, i'm always sad on sundays. it seems so short. it's like u wake up, and the next moment it's night time. and there comes MONDAY. scary MONDAY. my fave days are fridays and saturdays. it's like both days are psychologically relaxing to me. even if i were to have many appointments on those 2 days, i'd be very happy and relaxed. mondays are pretty stressful, tuesdays and wednesdays are boring. thursdays are a mix, it's a transition from boredom to excitement!

just like i am so exceptionally happy today! it's a transition from boredom to excitement, a transition from my birthday's eve to my actual birthday, and a transition from one year younger to one year older! how amazing! it's great when ur birthday falls on a friday isn't it?

oh yes, my very first birthday gift. i got it today! came in a pretty hot pink box with lime green ribbon! how super yummie! looks like a box of chocolates, but when i had a closer look, it's the cutie pen cles was raving about! how sweet of her and grace to get one for me. it's pearl, but i thought it looks like ivory, i love pearly and ivorish stuff. so princessy and girlish with a dash of royalty! on top of it, it looks milky and dreamy too. :) so so excited. got pics to show.

i took this with my laptop's camera, with the pen on the table. the camera is stuck on the top of the screen. what an ingenius shot!

what a happy dae!

it's really a nice and meaningful day for me.

actualli, i'm still kinda worried about my health. i have been having dizzy spells lately and motion sickness is a killer. i just need to be in the bus or cab or car for 10min, i feel like throwing up already.

after my appointments today, jimmy brought me to IKEA! got sale! first, we went to makan there, we ordered so much food that the people on our left, right, behind of me were staring at us. we bought a veggie salad, a potato salad, 6 pieces of chicken wings, 10 meatballs with potato, a roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies, oyster chicken rice and drinks. really alot?

jimmy had promised me to buy me some storage space and workspace to put at his place :) i was so so happy. we didn't buy those big and chunky and v permanent furniture, cos one day when we have our own home, these things would be wasted, no?

needing a digital camera urgently

so boring, dun have digital camera. whenever go overseas i borrow my brother's one. haiz. wish i have my own one too! and slick enough to just slip into my handbag or pocket, den i can take more photos and update my blog!!!! yes my vaio has built-in camera but i can't possibly use it to take photos impromptu! "eh, wait wait, i open my laptop first ah, eh wait wait, must take out from my laptop bag.. wait for it to setup first hor, wait ar, wait.." how silly.

contemplating to go for a full medical checkup! guess what, i'm comparing! raffles hospital is pretty expensive but they're giving some discounts til 31 august. nkf prevention centres has such checkups too and their prices are like 3 times lower. is there a reason why?

it's the weekend already. the sense of dread comes again.

and this few days been EXTREMELY warm ya know? can perspire just by sitting there. and it's causing me dizzy spells.

no one could ever irritate me and piss me off like this.

for goodness sake, i am a grown-up, i am 24 years old, i am computer literate, i can read sms, i am mentally sound and i check my email like once a day, not 1000000000000000000000000000000000 times. please stop, stop smsing me and calling me 1000000000000000000000000000000000 times a day to check my email 1000000000000000000000000000000000 times. stop.

even before i fell sick, this person has been calling me many times, sms me many times. then incidentally, i fell sick. all i wanted in the whole wide world was to REST. but he still didn't let me off. oh please *fall on my knees and beg* i am not illiterate, neither is my memory that bad, that i have to be called and smsed so many times. i am just about recovering from my 4-day fever, this person, starts it all again! and to make it more challenging, i am 'reminded' 'a few' times, to read my mail.

i wish this person will disappear soon.

byebye fever

had fever since i got back from malaysia and it won't go way til today. still feeling very weak tho. and the worse part is, my complexion is terrible!! :( pimples, oily skin, dry skin [i have combi skin u see],dullness.. just 3 days of sickness! i look like a haggard old lady. i tot sleep promotes good skin? i slept for the 3 days!

mid-year seminar

just back from everest mid-year seminar at jb. i am so so tired. we stayed at zon regency hotel, it's good. it looks nice and it is nice.

but it's like a dragon's dungeon, full of [cigarette] smoke! we had a 4-hour seminar, followed by a crazy rush for shopping [cos we oni had an hour!] with grace [we bought soccer socks! how crazy!], and a world cup theme dinner. the dinner was crazy fun. all of us wore jerseys. saw alot of people who became super confident and doing very interesting things. haha. and not to forget, episode of david chin becoming drunk, fell down the escalator, had scratches on certain parts of his face and neck, and said interesting things.

breakfast was from 6.30 to 10.30am. we reached there at 10.15am and guess what. we heaped up plates of food in case they closed and we still wanted food. singaporeanzz. in the end, i didn't eat much from my plates. i didn't even complete my kokocrunch. the sausages and bacon were not nice :( but i did have a big bowl of porridge with my preserved choy sum. that's my fave! i was once again impressed by grace's ability to store large amounts of food in a systematic procedure. i tink she impressed marcus too and he was so awed by it.

jimmy brought me shop-shop and he bought me a new bag. mummy sayz i always come home from a trip with new bags. how true. jimmy was almost stranded in malaysia, if not for cles who rescued him at the right moment. thanks cles :)

a few of us went to eat the not-so-black bak kut teh before heading home. i love it. the last time i ate it was last year and i was so in-love with the not-so-black soup with the small, thin and long 'shrooms. so full. grace impressed me again.

i hopped next door to buy cuttlefish. it's called mr sotong neh. guess they're not called that for nothing. so i bought cuttlefish, 20bucks worth of cuttlefish. i could have bought more tho, but not enough rm with me. haiz! i had only RM58 with me and the final bill was rm57.90. so fortunate.

home sweet home! fell into deep deep sleep once i reached home and was awoken by weird breathing sounds [so scared] at about 8pm. i tink i was just being paranoid. haha.

sleep

i slept for 10 hours. i can't believe it! i had a really tiring dream and it made me feeling so sick this morning that i just couldn't open my eyes or make myself get up. plus, the weather was uper good this morn! hehe.

i dislike this. been waking up late. i tink i should sleep much earlier next time. it's difficult! 've been sleeping late since donkey years ago.

happie fridae!

i was nearly late for OCS meeting today so i had to on-call a cab to office.. 15bucks! argh. the traffic is always so bad :(

it was quite a relaxed day for me. i went shopping in the late evening, alone, and it was fun! went to raffles city shopping centre. actualli was looking for m.a.c. to checkout their fluidline and their pressed powder. the BA tested the fluidline and i loved it immediately! the blot powder is really smooth and nice too.. :)

i hopped over to the biotherm counter and i bumped in annie, who's there doing the biotherm private promotion. so coincidental! and so tempted to buy their stuff!! argh. next time.

tomoro is saturday! which means i can go to jimmy's place to finish off my last disc of da chang jin!! yay!!

i feel so messed up! everywhere, everything.

it's the time of the month again and i feel so tired, frustrated and moody. just wanna be alone. tomoro will be a better day.

i seriously do not know what i want. even if i achieved what i want, what would it mean to me? it seems that everytime i achieved something, the joy, the excitement, lasts for just awhile. is there anything i can do that will give me everlasting joy and satisfaction?

my brother is going to further his studies, thus not working for the time being. it was a shock. first thought in my head was, who's gonna give to the family now? and the answer was clear in my head, it is me. i've also been giving to mum and dad, but with this new situation in the family, my contribution is going to be double. looks like i have to work doubly hard, to maintain my standard of living. and to save up for my dream car.
