MAYDAY - BACK TO EARTH CONCERT 26April 08 Singapore Indoor Stadium

It was amazing! My tickets were for 5th row, but when I reached, I realised it is actually the FIRST ROW and right beside/infront the runway!

For this concert, they had a runway that ran around the indoor stadium. I could just stretch my hand and touch whoever walked past me on the runway, it was that near!

Ah Shin went past me 3 times and once he stood just right infront of me for almost half a minute. It was crazy. He is really tall...

Took some pics but not really clear, but I had really closeup pics of Ah Shin.. I love his princey looking red jacket. He really looked like a Prince :)

Pics not uploaded yet. Was super tired over the weekend and I spent most of Sunday resting.

I think I'm extremely blessed, it's my first Mayday concert and I get to see them so close.. still missing the concert.

ohya, i dropped my camera under the runway just before the concert started. I almost cried. Luckily, the security went under the runway to take for me.

I'd have the pics up tonight, if I still have energy after calling! :)

i watched this movie with jimmy last saturday. i think it is really nice, it's exaggerating but it is interestingly exaggerating. jimmy says it's kind of crappy that they actually spoke ang moh, including the jade emperor. it sounded a bit funny at first, but i think the jade emperor should know alot of languages, shouldn't he? he is the jade emperor u know??

mcgriddles


i've tried mcgriddles. it's really just replacing the usual muffin with small hotcakes. but i find it a tad too sweet for my liking and it seriously confuses my taste buds. sweet? salty? sweet? you've got them both in mcgriddles but it's too confusing, and clashing.
i'd seriously still prefer the normal sausage mcmuffin. and it's only $2 with a tea or coffee! :) excluding sundays of cause.


Shokudo Japanese Food Bazaar



tried this last sunday. it's at city hall, raffles city shopping centre basement 1. i've seen it a few times before but i don't really know what's going on inside. but it sure looks like marche. finally, jimmy and i went in on sunday and it's a market inside! it is sure a japanese-food-marche.


first dish we ordered was sake [salmon] sashimi. it even comes with the skin! which i've never seen before. best sashimi i've eaten so far.



jimmy ordered the teriyaki chicken burger and it is HUMONGOUS! on top of that, it tastes yummy! it even comes with an omelette inside which makes it look even more tempting to eat.



we ordered yakitori as well, and also beef hotplate. both are nice too :)



we had ice cranberry vinegar for our drink, it is super super sour, so if u like it sourish, u'd definitely love this! it sure makes you feeling hungry if you just walked in with a full stomach. so you can eat again.



the whole meal was not even expensive!

IE was down last night and i tried to figure out til 2am+ last night, gave up. now it's ok, apparently, since i can blog.

i am a thinker

i realise i am that. i think too much. i am afraid. was so afraid i cried yesterday. i told xiaoyun everything, things i was so afraid to tell. she didn't tell me what i should do, she said i should relax so that i can think better. i felt lighter after that, more relieved.

haven't been there before but i thought it's a great short-trip destination, after reading xiaxue's blog last night. and it is not expensive to stay there and have activities, but i thought the airfare's not very justifiable though. but i still want to go taiwan.

kitchen mogu mogu

i saw this restaurant at far east plaza. was waiting for jimmy while he was having his appointment and i saw this japanese looking that looks quite empty. it says that is a self-service restaurant or something. i reckon it's new cos i've never seen it before and if i'm not wrong, it's where burger king used to be.

inside this mogu mogu, there're 2 jappy girls who cheerfully welcome you, hands you a bill and teaches u how to use the self-automated machine to purchase ur food. it's kinda interesting so i ordered a drink. you choose whatever you want from the touch screen, slot in ur notes or coins and out comes the receipt and change. you then bring the receipt to the adjacent counter and collect ur meal. it's that simple.

and the place looks cute too.


















looks empty though, on a sunny weekday. maybe some people dunno how to use self-automated machines, that's why.

can please don't act cute?

no pictures today, cos i am really tired.

well, back to my title.

acting cute isn't the only way to get by in life. you should learn how to develop real and tangible knowledge, skills and charisma to move on in life. acting cute belongs to the younger generation, or when you're with your boyfriend/husband. it gets on my nerves when i see u acting cute. please cut it out. i almost puked today, in fact, every other day. *grabs my head in hysteria. please! before i need to spell it out in your face!

acting cute just makes me feel that you're the old-fashioned woman who wants to play the damsel in distress. maybe you did it when you're younger [teenage girls acting cute is really cute, but.. ... ], but seriously, you're like, not young anymore. that's why, it's becoming disgusting, and an abhorence.

it's not a good day and i experienced the above. i hope i'd never have to go through it again.
