Thailand Trip Day Six: Last Day!

this is realli the last day le! haha, guess what, we nearly missed our breakfast again!! argh. we woke up at 9.20am and reached the cafe at like 9.45am? we took 15min to get whatever we wanted to eat and filled the table with food. hee. we ate and hung ard til like 1030am before we headed for MBK to find the gal who wanted to give us the purses. we reached dere and she's not ard! we went to the phone to call her and she arrived in 5min! hee, she gave me an orange purse. i like the embroidery on it. so nice...so thai-ish! i asked her abt thai singers and she brought us to the CD shop and i bought i thai CD. nice.. i'm listening to it now.

we did some last min shopping and rushed back to the hotel to pack our stuff. i came to thailand with half a bag, now i have 4 bags. amazing. hee. i went to send a postcard home and i asked the staff at the concierge how much issit. he spoke to me in a weird language and i was confused for a min. suddenly, another staff came and he said something to the first guy and suddenly the first guy broke into laughter and said "15 baht". he continued laughing and he said "sorry sorry, i tot u're japanese, so i spoke to u in japanese." heh, so cute.

we went downstairs to wait for our van to pick us. while waiting, i played with the escalotor, trying to avoid the sensor, so that it won't move even when i am on the escalator. it's very fun! i played scissors paper stone with ian kan and i lost. haha. we took lotsa pics there too.

i passed baobao my phone so that he'd remain contactable and den we left in the van when it came. there's another group of singaporeans on the van too and ian started talking to them. i was bored! nana was listening to her MD and so dao.

got to the airport and we're realli thirsty so we walked to Burger king to have a drink. took photos on the way to BK.



on the way back, we took a trolley to put our hand luggage and i sat on the trolley! ian kan pushed me back and he's a dangerous driver, be it real cars or trolley. finally it's time to board the plane. *sadness overwhelmed me. i miss thailand already! i was super quiet on the plane back. no mood to talk at all. my headphones were on full blast and i was listening to thai songs, which made me even sadder and more reluctant to leave.

we reached singapore at 6.35pm and we took cabs home. hmm.. the feeling is so weird!

Thailand Trip Day Five: Sending Weisiong Away

it's the day that weisiong will leave thailand and go back home. he booked the flight one day before ours cos he wanna go back earlier. after our breakfast, we all went back to our rooms. could feel the sadness in the air as we know that someone is leaving today! ha, abit kuazhang. anyway, na fell asleep... *doh. weisiong came over to our room and i chatted with him for awhile and as usual, he did his usual bit of crapping. after awhile, na got up, iankan and cedric came over and we started to shoot their final video. 11.30am, we sent weisiong downstairs, put him safely into a cab, bid farewell and the 4 of us left slowly went back to our rooms... 5 short of one now, the feeling's abit weird. we slacked around for awhile and finally we decided to head for MBK.... AGAIN. as we walked into the hotel lobby, guess who we saw? Weisiong! he ran frantically towards us and told us he did not have enuff cash to pay for the cab fare. so doh. i passed him 300+ baht and we put him into another cab again. he looked so stress! thank God we didn't leave for MBK earlier, or he might have missed his flight. anyway, we went to MBK and we met this girl in a men's shop and she's realli nice. not only did she give me discount for the belt i bought for my daddy, she said she'd buy a purse for each one of us as a present and she asked us to go back the next morning to look for her! she gave us her number and den we left.

when we got back, we realli slept. it was a terrible day. we woke up and we all gathered in our room to eat instant noodles. i felt my tummy was sick already. after that, we watched the thailand video together and after that it was time to send cedric off le. he was leaving for penang and the bus will come at 7pm.

we went to the hotel lobby and waited... and waited... and waited. 8pm. nothing happened! the hotel staff checked the bus for us and realised that the bus had left without baobao! oh man. by that time, ian kan was no longer with us [he went for dinner with his dad]. i was so stressed! i ran up to our room, grabbed our wallets and accompanied baobao to the train station [where the agency was] to settle the bus thingy. thank God, the agency allowed baobao to take the next day's bus! we went to makan after that...

reached back the hotel abt 10plus and iankan wanted to go patphong actualli [where the bars, pubs and transvestites are] but we didn't manage to go... cos IAN FELL ASLEEP. and baobao was so tired. wat a waste of time in thailand.

Thailand Trip Day Four: Zoo!

we din miss breakfast today!



We went to the zoo today! it's the last day here for weisiong so we'll go zoo in the morning and head for MBK in the evening! cool! it was a hard day for me at the zoo, cos it's so super hot and i was wearing an oversized teeshirt. hmm. baobao even more cham cos he was wearing a shirt [reason being: he ran out of tee shirts]. we took lotsa video there and i've never seen so mani animals before in my life! in the beginning, we only saw birds and it's making us bored. so we went 'boating' [i dunno what it's called.. something like water-bike?]. i shared one with na, bao shared with siong, ian took his own one. it was fun! but it's so super tiring! i din know it's so tiring! we're using all our might to peddle and my leg muscles are realli stretched to their limit. we thought we saw crocodiles and i was so fearful i quickly peddled away! later, bao says they're just kodomo dragons. for a moment i was stunned. dragons..

after the water-biking, we went to take a short rest. weisiong and bao ate instant noodles. so durh. they bought coconuts and after the drank and ate, these 2 crazy brothers starting using their chopsticks to hit the coconut shell continuously.. looks so dumb but they're having much fun... *doh

after that, we continued to look at the animals... lions, tigers, bears [ooo they're soooo cute! one of them did the mating dance.. hee...so farrrnie], giraffes [my fave animal now, cos they're so graceful when they walk, soooo pretty!], leopards, deers, hippos... etc etc. and ya, elephants! hee.

we're all sticky at the end of the zoo walk, actualli wanted to go back to the hotel but we decided to go straight to MBK instead, to save the cab fare. so we went shopping while ian went back to the hotel room to change. he met us in the evening and we went for dinner at this shop called '8'. nice ramen! i ate the tomyum ramen... amazing! wooo! and we ordered gyoza too.

back at the hotel, it's another slack night. haha. ian kan came to knock on our door and we luffed our heads off when we saw that he's all dressed in white. "u going for water baptism ah?" rena blurted out. we kept luffing and closed the door to prvent him from getting back at us for the joke. after 5min, i went to knock on his door and he was holding a pillow in his hands. i luffed when i saw him and said "let's go 5th floor now! we can baptise u in the pool!". he started to hit me with the pillow and ran away. i grabbed his tee shirt from his back and guess what? he started sprinting in the room and i was dragged into the room cos i didn't have time to release my grip on his shirt. he ran so fast, i realised i was suddenly 'flying' in the air and was sent onto the bed. everyone started luffing and i was so embarrassed. i asked nana if i looked awful with that 'flying' and she said no, i looked very funnie that's all. so diaoz.

i realli flew! for the first time, i flew without wings!

Thailand Trip Day Three: ChinaTown Trip and Movie!

this morning, all of us overslept! thanx to the card games we played the night before. wahaha. i heard the morning call, but i went back to sleep after that... totalli knocked out! ian kan called me 9.56am and he asked "have u had ur breakfast?" i was like .."oh no... we overslept! and missed breakfast??" *argh, there goes our free meal. hee

so we took our time since we missed breakfast [which ends at 10am] and we agreed to meet at the corridor at 11.30am. we went to the roadside stall right outside the hotel and we ate the nicest beef noodles i've ever had in my entire life! and only 25baht? that's like S$1??? madness! weisiong was not feeling well this day and he was struggling to makan and having bad tummyache. poor boy. we headed for chinatown. it's so interesting! it's bustling with people and mostly chinese of cos! hee... but it stills feels very thai-ish over there. all the roadside stalls selling satay and finger food and all that. so tempted to buy! hee... but we're still wary of the hygiene there tho. we bought most of our gifts thre, there's this gift shop that sells realli happening and cute stuff. ian kan bought bird's nest [rich kid huh.] weisiong was sitting down wherever we go... haiz, he so sick still follow us around. let's give him a big hand!*claps

it was realli hot, tiring and we're all sticky so we took a cab and went back to the hotel for a short rest. after that, we went to Siam Center Discovery Center... hee, i thought it's something like science center and we'll be seeing dinosaurs and stuff like that. but... hmm, realised that it's the shopping center next to MBK. *diao. it's like singapore's takashimaya, selling realli ex stuff which we have no intention of buying. and the guitar shop there is out to 'chop' u. fina 2003 is selling like S$400 there? madness. we headed for MBK, which is just 5 min away. most of the shops were closed, cos it's labour day. we bought tickets to the movie "50 first date" for 11.30pm show. after that we continued shopping while waiting for time to pass. i saw this realli nice skirt which i wanted to buy... but i didn't get to buy it. and i regret it now. *sob.

most of the shop were closed by 10pm.. so we were all forced to sit inside macdonalds since there's nothing to do. the guys watched soccer there, nana slept and i chatted with shuzhen on the phone. hmm long distance calls... haiz. at 11pm, we went to the internet shop... yippe! msn! haha, was so overjoyed, that's probably the best thing that happened for th day? heee...saw lotsa friends online. i didn't even have time to check my mails, cos everyone was chatting. heehee. and it's cheap. 20 baht for 30min. that's like a dollar? we ran for the movie cos we're late but thank God the commercials were sooo long. before the show started, we saw this thing on the screen which looked like the laying foundation book cover and ian said "laying foundation" and we all broke out in trmemdous luffter... immediately, the king's picture appeared on the screen and words "please pay respects to the king". everyone in the theater stood up and we followed suit. and we started to see more pics of the king and what he does. hee, funnie but great that we went for the movie, so we know what stuff they do tat. imagine singapore films have this "please pay respect to the president".. weird hor?

Thailand Trip Day Two: Night Bazaar

nana and i woke up at 9am and we went for breakfast together at the in-house cafe, Gold Teak. it's scrumptious! there's fried rice, white rice, muay cai, bacon, ham, sausages [different varieties], scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelettes, croissants, tarts, bread, cereals, congee, soup, cakes, fruits, sushi, kimchi etc etc... nice!!! yummiz.

the guys didn't have breakfast with us cos they went for the half-day tour earlie in the morning, nana and i needed our beauty sleep. we went back to the room to slack after breakfast and we both fell asleep. we woke up about 1pm and the guys were still not back and no news from them at all. it's pretty sianz, so we went out on our own. it was a realli courageous decision, since thailand is a strange land to us and we're pretty wary of the people there. anyway, we had fun shopping at MBK and later weisiong and cedric met us at 5pm at the macdonald's there. we went to take neoprints together and we went back to the hotel to wait for ian kan, who went to meet his dad at the airport. meanwhile, we played uno..

ian kan came back at 8.15pm and we all hurriedly took cab down to Lumbini Night Bazaar! it's a pretty boring place with lotsa things selling. haha. boring cos there's not alot of people. ew bought alot of souvenirs there and we left the place at 12plus... so tiring!

this is the night we had our overnight prayer meeting... haha. we prayed til 2am i tink and we continued the night by playing uno and heart attack and the call-name card game. haha. we slept at 4plus. Goodness!!

Thailand Trip Day One: The Day I Went Away
29 April, Thursday

Had a great night's sleep. Woke up, got ready and surfed net for the last time. Feeling excited, yet sad that i'm gonna be away from home for 6 days! At about 9.45am, i went downstairs to meet Weiming. Guess what? We waited 30min for cab, but to no avail. Siansation... i on-called a cab and i went to pick kelly and shuzhen at tampines before heading for airport. Thank God we still had time to eat at BK. Yippee! thanks to Kelly for the breakfast! Ian Lim and Elaine were there to send us off too.




Ian Kan, Nana and I bought gifts for the 'fan club', apples for elaine and chocolates for da rest to appreciate them for sending us off. so super sweet of them. We went in at 12noon and we had to run to the gate cos we're almost late! we boarded the plane about 12plus and sat down comfortably. i was very worried abt the air pressure thingy tho. the air steward was very funnie, with a super funnie accent "may i offer you coffee?" hahaha... the 'frenly' air stewardess poured sprite onto ian kan's pants ... haha, so funnie. thai time is an hour behind us. so reached thailand abt 2pm thailand time.

the van trip to the hotel was an hour! so hot, almost died there. reckless driving is the norm there, just need abit of getting used to. it's traffic like this that makes ian kan a safe driver finally. wahahahah! the cars there just changed lanes whenever they want *phew. Thank God for safety.the hotel room's super cool. 2 super big beds! i love the room.

we settled down and met up to go shopping! we took tuk-tuk to the largest shopping centre i've seen in my life 'MBK'. it's 7 storeys high and it's HUGE. we only managed to clear 2 floors briefly before dinner time. Cedric, nana and i went to do our hair after dinner while ian kan and weisiong went to settle the air ticket thing. i rebonded my hair, nana permed, baobao did treatment.





@night, we wanted to have supper. but guess what, the brothers wanted to eat seafood, knowing that nana dun eat seafood. *durh. we went across the road outside the hotel and they ordered cockles... and so eeeky, it's alive and moving when they served it to them. weisiong almost freaked out and he was eeeee-ing all the time. he brought it back to the stall and asked them to re-cook it. when they took them back, weisiong already lost his appetite and ian kan ate everything up. we went to 7-eleven after that to get drinks and food. reached the hotel at 2am and we went over to the guy's room to watch TV but i fell asleep instead and nana woke me up at 3plus to go back to sleep.
