Our 4th Anniversary

Our 4th anniversary was on 7 May 2009. That would be the very last time we celebrate our anniversary, cos next year, we would be celebrating our wedding anniversary instead, 28 May 2009!

Jimmy had been extremely busy recently, esp. after he become an Associate Manager. He's like a little bee, always busying himself with work. Last time he would go for his own appointments, but now, he has to go for 3 persons' appointments. Himself, Andy, and Violette, cos sometimes he need to go with them for appointments. So this year, I was the one to plan our anniversary dinner! =)

We both love, totally dig Japanese food! Oh, AUTHENTIC JAP FOOD. We really can't stand those Japanese restaurants that serve low standard jap food, or unfresh sashimi. Our fave restaurants are Akashi and Sun with Moon. So I decided to bring him to Sun Japanese Dining at Chjimes. The place is lovely and the food too!

Sashimi Set! $70 for 2 slices of Toro, 2 Maguro, 2 Hamachi, 2 Sake, 2 Ebi and 4 Hotate-gai
Toro is the most expensive and the juiciest, melts in the mouth!
Maguro leaves a lingering taste.
Hamachi is not bad, but we've tasted better at Akashi.
The prawns are sooo sweet!!
Thumbs up for all fresh sashimi!
Sashimi set was our appetiser.
I ate Kurobuta pork with Kimchi Hotpot.. it's lovely!! I love the thin slices of pork + the generous amount of Kimchi served in a hotpot =) I'm definitely going to ate that again.
Jimmy ordered Pork Cheeks, I think it's Grilled Pork Cheeks with Black Pepper or something.

Looks like we're ordering food, but actually we've finished the meal already, I'm ordering dessert! We ate the dessert trio, consisting of a green tea icecream, sesame pudding and tofu cheesecake. Jimmy didn't like the idea of tofu cheesecake but after he tried it, he loved it! The sesame pudding was amazing. It tasted bitter actually, but Jimmy told me to take a sip green tea after having a bite at the sesame pudding, and immediately, the sweetness came out!! Both the sesame and green tea ain't sweet at all, so where did the sweetness come from?

After dinner, we walked around Chjimes and we spotted his lovely location behind Chjimes Hall. We had a hard time asking people to help us take, cos the first person took a horizontal when we wanted a vertical, second person could not capture the background. And the third couple was so funny. Jimmy went to ask them if they could help us with a picture and the guy thought we wanted to take a picture of them and they discussed for a minute til they finally realised we just needed their help! haaa. But they managed to take beautifully for us, with the Chjimes hall behind us. Love the view!
Happy Happy 4 Years!! =)
